WHAT DOES UNITED BROKER USE THE DATA FOR?

UBsend collects the personal data for the following purposes:

We use the general information to collect broad geographic visitor information, improve our website, monitor traffic and usage patterns and for other general business purposes. To collect and store this information, we use Google Analytics

When you sign up as user on our website, we ask for your personal information in order to create your user account. When you wish to purchase one of our services, we ask you to enter your payment information. Your e-mail address is collected so that we can send you an e-mail to confirm your registration and orders. Furthermore, we use it to send marketing material and other information regarding our products and activities, if you have asked us to do this. Your phone number is collected so that United Broker or our shipping providers can contact you by SMS, if there are any questions or problems during the shipping process. In addition, we use it to send you a notification by SMS when your order has been placed in our system.

We collect the name, address and phone number of the recipient in order for our external shipping providers to perform the shipment. The recipient’s phone number is collected so that the recipient can be informed in case of problems during the shipment, and in order to let the recipient know that the order has arrived in the parcel shop.

SHARING DATA AND TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES

UBsend will not share your data with other businesses without your prior explicit consent, unless this is required by law or required in order to perform services requested or purchased by you.

UBsend is an intermediary between our customers and the providers of the services that you purchase. We do not perform any of the services ourselves. Therefore, some of the personal data that you provide will be transferred to our external business partners who perform the services you order on the UBsend website. For instance, it will be necessary to pass on the name, phone number and address of the recipient to the shipping providers that we use for your shipment.

If you purchase an international shipping service, certain shipment data may be provided to the authorities of the country of transit or destination for customs and tax clearance or for security screening, as required by the laws of the country.
