QA Engineer and IT Supporter

Join UBsend as our new QA Engineer & IT Support Location: Aarhus C, Denmark Start: As soon as possible

UBsend is growing! We’re looking for a curious and proactive colleague to help us build our new QA function. You’ll join a company where the mindset is can-do, the tone is informal, and your ideas are welcome from day one!

We’re a scale-up working with cutting-edge logistics solutions for parcel delivery. Our product is cloud-native and built for scale, and we need someone who can support our colleagues, customers and our platform – someone who likes variety, is eager to learn and enjoys working with both new technologies and people.

As our new QA Engineer & IT Support, you’ll work at our Aarhus office and become a key part of our team, IT Support & QA’. Your job will be building a structured QA function from scratch and technical coordination with both internal stakeholders and clients through day-to-day IT support. You don’t need to be a developer – but you’ll need to understand how developers work and be comfortable around modern tools and workflows.

  • Atlassian suite (Jira & Confluence)

You don’t need to be fluent in any of it, but you should be motivated to understand how these tools fit together.

  Whether you come from a support, QA or hybrid background, we’re open to different profiles – the most important thing is that you’re motivated, collaborative, and ready to grow with us. QA as a role is new here, so you’ll be a massive part of building this with us.
What you’ll be doing Your role will be a mix of IT support, quality assurance in the release and development process and documentation. You’ll help make sure our systems run smoothly with low bug levels, fast deployment and that our product is well tested, controlled and monitored.   Your tasks will include:
  • Building tests, testing services, APIs and applications – both manually and with automation in mind for the future
  • Supporting the technical setup of new clients and monitoring platform improvements
  • Documenting solutions and owning support/QA processes with the team
  • Coordinating smaller internal change tasks and being a go-to person
  • Providing IT support to internal users and platforms
  You’ll also collaborate closely with our development teams – understanding their tools, workflow and priorities, and helping connect the dots between code, support and quality.
