DATA GOVERNANCE MANAGER

You will join our BI & Analytics department, which is responsible for UBsend’s Master Data and Business Intelligence solutions—both internally and externally—as well as the strategic roadmap for data and analytics. As we move from startup to scale-up, the need to professionalize and structure our data governance has never been more important.

As Data Governance Manager, you will take the lead in designing, implementing, and maintaining our future Data Governance Framework. You will define policies, roles, responsibilities, and guidelines—and drive the practical rollout, ensuring our data becomes an asset that is structured, accessible, and trusted across the organization.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience and/or educational background
  • Proven experience working with Data Governance in a similar role
  • Experience with cross-functional project work
  • Structured mindset with strong documentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in Danish (spoken and written) and professional proficiency in English
  • Comfortable working with deadlines
  • Strong IT understanding; knowledge of the transport/logistics industry is a plus

You may currently be working in a medium or large company with experience in Data Governance and are ready to take full ownership of the discipline. You enjoy creating structure, building coherence, and maintaining an overview.

You are a strong communicator who can translate complex ideas into accessible solutions and have a results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering on time.

You are curious, proactive, and adaptable—traits essential in a fast-growing company. You are motivated by challenging and optimizing existing structures and solutions.

You’re collaborative, outgoing, and able to find workable compromises that align structure with UBsend’s way of working. You're also not afraid to stand your ground and engage in constructive dialogue when necessary.

A strong interest in digital products and emerging technologies is essential for success in this role.

  • Develop, coordinate, and document UBsend’s Data Governance Framework
  • Implement the framework across departments and take active ownership of its success
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment of data policies and guidelines across the organization
  • Lead the project in collaboration with other strategic initiatives and departments
  • Translate business needs into structured, scalable, and practical data solutions
