BI DATA ENGINEER

You will join our BI & Analytics department, which is responsible for UBsend’s Master Data and Business Intelligence solutions—both internally and externally—as well as the strategic roadmap for data and analytics. As we move from startup to scale-up, the need to professionalize and structure our data governance has never been more important.

As a BI Data Engineer, you will play a key technical role in developing and maintaining data processes that power our BI & Analytics environment. You will work primarily with Alteryx and Microsoft Fabric, and support critical departments like Finance and Operations with data flows built on SQL, MongoDB, and various file handling systems.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong experience with Alteryx Server and/or Desktop Designer
  • Hands-on experience with data workflows and process design
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, databases (SQL/MongoDB), and file handling
  • Fluent in Danish (spoken and written), with professional English skills
  • Comfortable working with deadlines and taking operational responsibility
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus
  • Industry knowledge within transport/logistics is an advantage, but not required

  • Design, develop, and optimize BI data workflows (primarily in Alteryx and Microsoft Fabric)
  • Ensure proper use of master data and implement business rules in data flows
  • Support and maintain the operational performance of BI data processes
  • Provide support to the organization, ensuring scheduled data workflows run reliably
  • Collaborate with key departments (especially Finance and BI) on process improvements
  • Drive smaller data projects independently, with a focus on efficiency and data quality
